The moving element and fixed element of linear guide do not use intermediate medium, but use rolling steel ball. Because the rolling steel ball is suitable for high-speed movement, small friction coefficient and high sensitivity, it can meet the working requirements of moving parts, such as tool rest and carriage of machine tool. If the force acting on the steel ball is too large, the ball will endure the preload for a long time, which will lead to the increase of the movement resistance of the support.
